Mack glanced around, catching the eye of the manager and she cleared her throat awkwardly. Reaching across the counter, she grabbed one of the salt shakers from the small collection Izzy had gathered and pretended to fill it up, but she managed to get more salt on the floor than she did in the little container.
"You know, dude's party. I don't know about you but after this shit-" Mack glanced towards the manager again, who happened to be glowering in her direction. Mack made a face and held up the shaker before turning her attention back to Izzy and dropping her voice to an even quieter whisper. "This crappy shift, we could use a drink. Or like, five."
