Yeah, I guess I'm just selfish like that. [She laughed nervously and tugged on Helena's elbow.] Now, come on, time to leave.

[ Oh, she was definitely not going to make this easy for you, Myka, not whilst she was enjoying herself. And was hoping to get you to enjoy yourself, which might currently also involve her taking on of your hands in her own (the one on her elbow does nicely) before smiling. A little wickedly ]
Come on, darling.
[ Whilst Helena might be now trying to lead Myka somewhere it certainly isn't to the door, but rather a little down the bar to where it's not quite as crowded. Whatever could be wrong for staying a little while? ]

As the clock ticked by this became more and more unlikely.]
Helena. I've had a really long day. I'm tired, I don't really like bars and I have a dentist appointment in the morning. And you are really drunk. Can we please just go home?

Then you can go. [ It's a little snappish back, and she's making a point to not really look at Myka ] I didn't ask you to come. [ The gesture seems seems to only be appreciated if it doesn't come with a buzz kill ]

You called me. [Might as well reminded her of that - if she didn't want a killjoy maybe she should have drunk dialed Claudia.] You know, that is basically an invitation.
[It's really not, but Myka does her best to inject some kind of humor into her tone, hoping that that it might lighten the foul mood that has seemed to already develop between them.]

I haven't heard a better suggestion. [ She may leave if there's something else, better than a 'I'm taking you home and putting you to bed' ]

[Myka didn't really have a better suggestion. She was just tired and didn't like bars, but she liked the idea of leaving a drunk Helena on her own even less.]
We'll stay if you want.

[ She was already upset, and she wasn't having fun any more. Congratulations, Miss Buzz Kill, it worked ]
We'll go. [ Just don't expect her to go to bed, she's going to stay up and be defiant. And sleep all day. Or be ill ] You clearly don't want to be here.

Come on. I'll drive you back. [She stands up, huffing a sigh.] I just... I don't do well in bars, Helena. I figured you'd called because you wanted me to come pick you up.

We could have gone somewhere else. [ And there's a small pause, long enough for Helena to finish up her drink before picking up her bag ] I'd called you to spend the time with you. [ Maybe it had been the wrong time, and maybe she'd certainly drank too much, but it was the thought behind it at least. Other than being on a case they rarely spent any time together, not for just normal friend things. That was what Helena had wanted, and when she looks back at Myka, sliding from her stool, her expression is a little softer than the sulking she'd been before. But she's still sulking ]

She reached out and took Helena's hand, stalling her.] No, we'll stay. One more drink won't hurt and I don't want to ruin your night. [She also didn't want Helena angry with her. Things at the Warehouse weren't always perfect and Myka wanted to be Helena's ally. A petty fight over staying at a bar wasn't worth the trouble.] I'd like to spend time with you, too.

[ The things that Myka had had planned for the morning, and the fact that she didn't like bars. Myka had made all of that incredibly evident before. And here she now was saying that staying would be alright. She needed a little convincing ]

[It's sort of a big deal because Myka really doesn't like bars but getting over that is easier than having Helena be angry at her.]
